ヒット曲を出した後で音楽とは全く違う仕事を選ぶシンガーはあまりいませんがQ Lazzarusはそのひとりでしょう。
Not many singers choose a completely different job after making a smash hit.  Maybe Q Lazzarus is one of them.

（余談）

1988年にリリースされたこの曲は当初あまり注目されなかったようですが,1991年の映画「羊たちの沈黙」に使われたことで一挙に有名になりました。

ただその後次のシングルやアルバムが出ることはなく,薬物依存,売春,逮捕などを経験した後,薬物依存から回復し２０１５年にはニューヨークのスタテン島でバスの運転手として働いていたようです。

その後も夫と様々なビジネスを展開していたものの２０２２年に骨折したことから敗血症になりそのまま帰らぬ人となりました。

「波乱万丈」を絵に書いたような人生だったのではないでしょうか
