Hero マライア・キャリー (Mariah Carey)

おそらくMariah Careyの曲のなかでも有名なもののひとつでしょう。人間は素晴らしいと高らかに歌い上げるこういった曲を聞き，いかにもありふれていると思う人もいるかもしれませんが，人間時には元気を出すためにこういう「いかにもな」曲が必要な時があるものです。
Probably this song is one of the best known of Mariah Carey's. To some people, songs like this in which the narrator (singer) proudly expresses their faith in human nature may sound a bit corny or cheesy.  Sometimes, however, we do need such an overly optimistic song to pull ourselves together.

My Wayといいこの曲といい，この手の「いかにもな」曲を歌うにはなによりも歌唱力が必要なのだなとこのヴィデオを見ながら痛感しました。
