歌詞には衣類に関連する様々な言葉や表現が登場します。例えば「着替えてみる」「黒いシフォン」「金とブルーのドレス」「ちょっとキツかった」さらに「スカーフ」「ヒール」「肌着」など。無論，こういった言葉で相手を文字通り描写している考えることもできますが，個人的にはむしろメタファーであって，彼女が周りにどう見えるかを気にし過ぎていることを表していると思っています。ただ，本当かどうかはわかりませんが，この曲はあの「彼女」のことを歌ったものとも言う人もいるようです。皆様はどうお考えでしょうか？
The lyrics are full of words and phrases associated with clothes, such as 'try it on', black chiffon, 'dress of gold and blue', 'runs a bit too small' not mentioning 'scarf', 'heels' and 'undershirt'.  These words could be taken as they're literally describing the second person.  I think, however, they should be taken rather metaphorically.  They describe she cares about what she looks like too much.  I'm not sure if it's true or not but some people say this song is about 'her'. What do you think?

男性であれ女性であれ，アーティストと関わるとこういうことになるわけですね・・・今後の己の戒めにしたいと思います。（だからといって当然のことながらそういう経験も予定も全くありませんが）。
