Halseyの母親は彼女に好きになるならドキドキする相手ではなく安心できる相手にしなさいと言ったんだとか。それがあって「もう本当に笑っちゃう，警告が出てるのにトキメキみたいに思えるの（Oh, it's funny how, The warning signs can feel like they're butterflies)」の下りが生まれたそうです。
Halsey's mother told her daughter not to fall for the person who gave her butterflies and to choose the one who made her safe instead.  It's the background of the line, "Oh, it's funny how, The warning signs can feel like they're butterflies".
