Miracle チャーチズ (CHVRCHES)

こちらの曲をここで取り上げてからもう5年以上が過ぎました。ところでこの曲，最初に耳にした時は恋愛関係を歌ったもので，主人公は相手に対して，自分に敬意を払いそれを態度に出せと求めていると思っていましたが，下のミュージック・ヴィデオを見るとそうではないようです。
More than five years have passed since I picked this up here.  When I heard this song, I thought it's a song about a relationship in which the narrator's asking the second person to show them some respect and act that way.  Watching the music video below, I reckon it's about something else.

（余談）

少女の面影を残す Lauren Mayberryの歌声を聞きその姿を見ていると，つい騙されそうになりますが，このミュージック・ヴィデオを見る限り，世の中の対立や混乱を嘆く歌詞であるように思われます。
