相手がその男性を知っているのかどうか主人公に確信がなければ，主人公は「なんだよどこのどいつだよ？（Who is he?）」ではなく「知ってる人？（Do you know him?）」と聞いたはずです。
If the narrator isn't sure that the second person knows the guy, they would ask, "Do you know him?" instead of "Who is he?"

にもかかわらずいきなり「なんだよどこのどいつだよ？」と聞いているということは，主人公はすでに相手の浮気を疑っているということになります。
