この曲の背景にあるストーリーの舞台はいつなのでしょうか？「金星を目指していても (We're heading for Venus)」や「この先の道のりは何光年も残っているし (With so many light years to go)」などという部分から考えれば，おそらく未来のある時点なのでしょうが，あることがどうしても気になって仕方ありません。すなわち，主人公は「金星に向かっている」そして「何光年もの遠くまでこれから行かなきゃならないし」と言っているものの，金星はそこまで遠くありません。
When does the story behind this song take place?  Considering lines like "We're heading for Venus" and "With so many light years to go," it's probably at some point in the future.  One thing keeps bothering me:  Although the narrator says their destination is Venus and they have so many light years to go, actually it's not that far from here.
