「世の中がおかしくなってる気がしても，お前にゃどうにもできないことだ」というコーラスだけを見ていると非常に悲観的な感じを受けますが，実際には「だから世間で報道されている悪いニュースばかりに惑わされず，それ以外のことにも目を向けよう」というポジティヴなメッセージであるようです。
確かに「酷い現実」がデフォルトであるならば，そもそもそれがニュースになるはずはありません。したがって，世の中にそういったものが溢れているということは，むしろそれがデフォルトではないという証拠であり，仮にそうだとすれば，逆に世の中はそれほど悪くないことなのかもしれません。
