幸せな子ども時代を過ごした人間は地元を離れるとホームシック（get homesick）になり戻るとほっとするようですが，それほど恵まれていなかった人間は家がイヤになり（get sick of home）出て行こうとします。
People who had good childhood memories often get homesick when they're away from home and get relieved when they're home again.  People who were not so lucky get sick of home and want to get away.
