Psychological conditions of a person often give a huge impact on their perception of the world.  I didn't take the song title as it was when I spotted it on charts.  I thought it's "Quite Mess Home" not "Quite Miss Home".  Well...

（余談）

イギリスを始めとする諸外国では靴のまま家に入ることが一般的だと思っていましたが「玄関で靴はちゃんと脱いでよね，床を拭かなきゃならないじゃない，泥汚れがついちゃうと耐えられなくなるんだよ」という下りがあるところを見ると，現在はそうでない家庭が増えているのかもしれません。

一方日本では玄関で靴を脱ぐのは当たり前なので，仮に主人公が日本人の場合にはこの種の叱責を受けることはまずないと思われますが，この下りを「靴下は洗濯カゴに入れてよね，いちいち拾ってあるかなきゃならないじゃない」あるいは「冷蔵庫の麦茶を飲んで残り少なくなったら補充しといてよ，いざ飲もうと思ったらほとんどないじゃない」にすれば日本においてもかなり汎用性があるように思われます。
