What's Now リアーナ (Rihanna)

皆様は気の長い方でしょうか？もしそうでないなら，ヴィデオの最初の個所は飛ばして，２分辺りからご覧になることをお勧めします。私もそうすればよかった。というのも最初の部分で美男美女が昼メロっぽい感じでいちゃつくのですが，それを見て1999年に公開された８㎜という映画を思い出しました。主演はニコラス・ケイジ（Nicholas Cage）とホアキン・フェニックス（Joaquin Phoenix）で，あるヴィデオが殺人の現場を録画したスナッフ・フィルムだったという内容ですが，そのことを思いだしてやや不安になり，思わずWhat's now?（今度は何？）と言ってしまいました。
Are you patient?  If you're not, I'd suggest you skip the first part of the video and watch it from around 2:00.  I should have done so.  In the first part of the video, you'll see some a beautiful woman and man are flirting each other in a bit soap-operatic way.  That reminds me of a film called "8mm" (1999) starring Nicholas Cage and Joaquin Phoenix in which a video turns out to be a snuff film (a murder film).  Being scared, I said to myself, "What's now?"

（余談）

このヴィデオ，Official Music Videoと名乗っていますが，おそらくファンが勝手に作ったヴィデオです。そのため，曲自体は今年のものなのですが，ヴィデオに登場するRihannaがかなり若い。道理でヴィデオの最初で意味不明な昼メロが展開したはずです。

ただアイドル風に水着ではしゃぐ10代のRihannaについてはそれはそれでアリです。無論それが歌詞と合っているかというと，それはそれでまた別の話ですが，まあ彼女がかわいかったからよしとするしかありません。

それにしても，延々2分間にわたり，どうでもいい男女のいちゃつきを見せられたこの憤懣（フラストレーション）を一体どこに向ければいいんでしょうか？
