Use Somebody キングス・オブ・レオン(Kings of Leon)

ネイティヴでない自分はこの曲の内容を理解するのにいささか苦労しました。この曲がラジオで頻繁に流れていた当時、この耳で聴き取れたのはサビの部分の"You know that I could use somebody"だけ。ためにこれは誰かを搾取したり操ったりする歌だと勘違いし嫌っておりました。今になってやっと詞の内容が理解できてあれが勘違いだったと悟りました。ラヴソングだったんですね。
Not being a native speaker of English, I admit that I had a difficulty in understanding what this song was really about.  When I heard this song a lot on the radio, what I could understand was nothing but the hook, "You know that I could use somebody".  So I thought it's a song for exploiting or manipulating someone and hated a bit.  Now I know what they sing.  I was completely wrong.  This is a love song....
