最初は相手が復縁に乗り気ではなく，「I know this love is heading, In the same direction, That's up」の下りの「up」という言葉は「終わり」という意味だと思っていたのですが，ミュージック・ヴィデオやアコースティック版のヴィデオのコメント欄を見ていると，どうやらそうではないようで，2人は傷つきながらもまた一緒になろうとしているようです。
At first I thought the second person's not willing to reunite with the narrator.  A word 'up' in "I know this love is heading, In the same direction, That's up" means they're over.  Looking at many comments on the music video and the acoustic one below, the word seems to mean otherwise.  They're trying to be together again despite their heartache.

ヴィデオを見る限り，仲直りはできていないようですが・・・。
