夜空を横切る流れ星は非常に美しく，その輝く光もあって宝石に喩えられることも少なくないわけですが，実際の流れ星は成層圏に突入した石や残骸が燃えているものです。
A shooting star which crosses the night sky looks very beautiful.  We often compares it to some jewels because of the shimmering light.  What makes a shooting stars is a burning rock or debris coming through the stratosphere.
