それはともかくこの曲，本館ではミダス王として知られているBruno Marsが作曲しているんだとか。確かにミダス王節です。
Isn't the song title a bit misleading? It sounds like a crying woman always wins but actually who "tears always win" over is the protagonist herself. It means every time she remembers her ex., she always cry (=tears always win) even though she tries not to.
By the way, they say the song was written by Bruno Mars who is known here as "King Midas of Pop". It surely sounds like his song.

（余談）
今まで本館で取り上げたAlicia Keysの曲は，No OneとGirl On Fireで，どちらも「強い女」を描いていましたが，この曲の主人公はそれとは対極のところにあるようです。なにしろ，元彼（二人称しか出てこないので別に「元彼女」でも構わないのですが）のことが忘れられずついつい泣いてしまうくらいです。
いわゆる「破局ソング」を作る場合，女性アーティストの曲というのは，男性アーティストのそれに比べてよく言えばポジティヴな「次いこ，次」系のものが多いのですが，この曲は比較的珍しいタイプのようです。
とはいうものの，この曲，歌っているのはAlicia Keysですが，作ったのは「振られ男の恨み節」を書かせたら右に出るものがないと個人的に思っているミダス王であるので当然と言えば当然かもしれません。
