Clocks コールドプレイ (Coldplay)

曲が始まった時，演奏しているのが誰なのかはわかりませんでしたが，特徴的なピアノ・リフには覚えがりその素晴らしさに大変感動しました。Coldplayの曲らしく，メタファーに溢れどのようにも取れる歌詞になっています。バンド・マネジャーのPhil Harveyはかつてこの曲について「人生における変遷を歌ったもの」と説明していますが，不安というものについて歌った曲だと思っている人もあるようです。
I didn't know who played this song but immediately recognized and was greatly impressed with the piano riff when the song started. As often with the case with Coldplay songs, the lyrics are pretty metaphorical and therefore open to our own interpretation.  Phil Harvey, who is the band manager once explained it was song about a journey through life.
