Mrs. Robinson サイモン・アンド・ガーファンクル (Simon & Garfunkel)

邦題のせいでこの曲が使われた映画のタイトルは「大学院生 (The Graduate)」ではなく「卒業 (The Graduation)」だと思っていましたが，確かに様々な困難を通して主人公が独り立ちすると考えれば，ある意味「卒業」と言ってもおかしくないのかもしれません。
I believed the title of the film which this song was featured was "The Graduation" not "The Graduate" because of the Japanese title.  Considering the protagonist in the film became more independent through some struggles, it could be taken as a graduation in a way.

（余談）

私を含めおそらくかなりの方が何故「ジョー・ディマジオ」なのかとお考えではないでしょうか？

これに対して，当のArt Garfunkelは「メロディーとリズムに合ってたから」と答えているようですが，そう言えばあの名曲Yesterdayの出だしも最初Paul McCartneyがメロディを思いついた時は「scrambled eggs」だったとか。

してみると言葉においてはそのリズムや抑揚が我々が意識している以上に重要なのかもしれません。例えば「あざーっす」にしても，本来の文言とは明らかに「音」として違っているにもかかわらず，ほぼ全ての人がその言葉を「ありがとうございます！」として受け取っているからです。

・・・と，ここまで書いて思い出したのが，近所にあるスーパーの焼き芋コーナーです。「紅はるか～紅はるか～，冷めても美味しい紅はるか～」とアナウンスしているのですが，録音の品質が高くないために，何度聞いても「デジタル化～デジタル化～，冷めても美味しいデジタル化～」と聞こえてしまいます。
