When I'm Sixty-Four ザ・ビートルズ (The Beatles)

Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Bandの発売から今年で50周年だとか。今までに何度も耳にして馴染があったにもかかわらず，この曲については，今年になるまでタイトルも内容も知りませんでした。この曲を聞くとEd SheeranのThinking Out Loudを思い出すのですが，そう思うのは私だけではないと思います。
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the release of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.  Although I've heard this song so many times before and that made it sound quite familiar to me, I didn't know either the title or what the song is about until this year.  It reminds me of Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud and I'm not the only one who thinks so.

（余談）

何故64歳なのかという疑問が浮かぶわけですが，一般にはこの曲が出来た時，作曲者のPaul McCartneyの父親が64歳だったと言われています。

とはいうものの，あれから50年経って人間の健康状態は飛躍的に良くなっています。聞くところによると，現在人の健康年齢は昔の人間のそれの7割程度で，現在の70歳は昔の100歳に該当するんだとか。したがって，物価のようにスライド制をとるとすれば，当時の64歳は現在の90歳くらいに該当する計算になります。

・・・そりゃあ髪も薄くなるでしょうとも。
