昨今我々の周囲には，環境に配慮した自然な生活を送るべきであるというメッセージがメディアから送られてきています。天然素材やオーガニックな材料を使い，人工のものを使った製品よりもはるかに安全であるとうたった商品も少なくありません。しかし光るものすべてが金とは限らないように，自然・天然だからといって必ずしも人間にとって有益だとは限りません。例えばフグ毒のテトロドトキシンは天然のものですが致死毒です。
Nowadays we're surrounded by messages from the media that we should be sensitive to our environments and live a natural life.  Many products boast of using organic materials or 'natural' ingredients and try to convince us that they're much safer than those with artificial ones.  All that glitters, however, is not gold.  All that is natural is not benevolent. Tetrodotoxin is a natural but deadly poison.

（余談）

リードでは「天然の・自然の」という意味の「natural」について述べたわけですが，この曲について言えば，タイトルの「Natural」は，「生まれついての（才能）」を意味しています。

そもそも「Yeah, you're a natural」の下りで，これをそのまま「そうだ，お前は天然なんだ」とやってしまっては，全く別の曲になってしまうような気がします。
