前のクリスマスシーズンにこの曲を知ったのでクリスマス・ソングだと思ったものの，今はもうその点については確信がありません。
I came across this song last Christmas season and thought it's one of Christmas songs.  Looking at the lyrics, now I'm not sure about it.

（余談）

日本では「雨は夜更け過ぎに雪へと変わる」ようですがあちらでは「もうすっかり夜だけどまだ雨は続いて」るんですね。
