歌詞に登場する「コドモ」というのはおそらく若い世代を表す言葉であり，一方「頭に白髪の混じってる（silver lines）」という下りがおそらく上の世代を表すメタファーなのは白髪頭をイメージさせるからです。
A word 'kids' probably represents the younger generation while 'silver lines' may metaphorically represents the older ones, conjuring up the image of 'grey hairs'.
