厳密に言えば「星屑」は我々の目には見えません。天体にはいくつか種類がありますが，光を放つのは恒星のみで，それ以外のものは恒星の光を反射しない限り見ることはできません。
Technically speaking, stardust is invisible to our naked eye. There are some astronomical bodies and only stars are visible emitting light. Nobody can see others unless they reflect lights from a star.

（余談）
無論ここで言う「星屑」は「あるべき２人の姿の成れの果て」という意味のメタファーですが，我々が「星屑（stardust）」と呼んでいる夜空の星も実際にはただ遠くにあるというだけで近づいてみれば下手をすると太陽などよりも遥かに明るい「星」である場合がほとんどです。
