しかも話はここで終わりません。この曲の出だしはKings of LeonのUse SomebodyやFort MinorのWhere'd You Goにも似ております。特に後者は使っているコードがかなり重なる気がします。また共通点はかなりあるものの、私の考えところでは、次の２つの点でWhere'd You Goに軍配が上がります。①Where'd You Goの方が先に出来た②Where'd You Goの方が歌詞に深みがある。ごめんねアヴリル。でも聞いて。フォート・マイナーのマイク・シノダよりもアンタの方がずっとかわいいよ。
Déjà vu? Or déjà entendu? Maybe. An outstanding song writer has a distinctive and indigenous trademark sound or tune. When it works right, it allows people to recognize its writer instantly. When it works wrong, however, it makes all the songs he/she writes sound the same or similar. Unfortunately, her trademark sound seems to work wrong this time. Her "I Will Be" and this sound the same. Especially, the hook.
The story does not end here. The beginning of this song also reminds me of "Use Somebody" (Kings of Leon) and "Where'd You Go" (Fort Minor). Especially,"Where'd You Go" (Fort Minor) and this seem to share most of the musical chords used for. Despite their similarity, I think the former is better than this in two ways. The former came first and it has more profound lyrics. Sorry, Avril but I’ｌｌ tell you, you are much cuter than Mike Shinoda.
