Lucky ジェイソン・ムラーズ(Jason Mraz )

少し前に訳した「I'm Yours」とこの曲を聴くとJason Mrazに対して品行方正なイメージを抱くかもしれません。R指定なしPG１２指定すらない、まさにディズニー映画のように自分の子どもに安心して聴かせられる曲というイメージです。しかしお待ちください。今日物事はそれほど単純ではございません。ディズニー映画どころじゃない曲もあります。例えば「Geek In The Pink」は彼のヒット曲ですが最初から最後まで「裏の意味」にあふれております。個人的には好きですが、自分に小学生の子どもがいてこの曲を聴いてるのを知ったら複雑な気持ちになると思いますね。
この曲「Lucky」は海外ドラマの「私はラブリーガル」で知ったのですが、グリーのシーズン２でも歌われています。
Judging from "I'm Yours" I translated weeks month ago and this,  you might think Jason Mraz is a "good boy ".  No NC-17, no R, no PG-13 not at all.  Like a Disney picture, any parent let their children listen to his songs without any hesitation.  100% guaranteed.  But wait!  Things are not that simple these days.  At leaset one of his songs is far from Disney pictures.  "Geek In The Pink", one of his major hits is full of innuendos and connotations.   If it were a motion picture, it would be definitely R rated.  I love the song but if I had a grade school child, I wouldn't be very happy when I find he/she listening to it.  
I heard the song "Lucky" in an American TV show, "Drop Dead Diva" and was glad to know it was covered in "Glee" Season 2.
