最初タイトルの「チョコレート」は実際のチョコレートを表していると考え，訳が分からなくなって困ったのですが，後でそれがある種の大麻樹脂であることがわかりました。こういう曲を理解しようとすると，時によっては，善良な市民であることが邪魔になったりするわけですね。
According to Songfacts.com, this (song) won BBC Radio 1's A List Vote and closely followed by Bastilles's "Pompeii" at #2 and Fall Out Boy's "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)" at #3." These two songs are my favorites. So I think I should post this.
At first I thought the song title, 'Chocolate' literally meant real one and was very confused. Later I learned it's a slang for a certain type of hash. Being an good citizen isn't always good, especially in understanding songs like this.

（補足）
quit itという表現には「死ぬ」という意味もあるらしいのですが，その用法はアメリカのもので，このバンドはイギリス出身なので今回は採用しませんでした。
（余談）
The 1975のMatthew Healyによれば，この曲は小さな町でのミドルクラスの子どもと警察当局との関係を描いているらしい。歌詞の中には「guns under our petticoats」という箇所が登場しますが，この「ペティコート」という言葉は，ミドルクラス（中流階級）を象徴しており，この箇所全体でミドルクラスの子どもは，当局から銃（違法なもののメタファー）を隠し持っているのではないかという疑いを常にかけられているという意味なのだとか。
ところで，この歌詞の最初の連には，以下の箇所が登場するのですが，ここが大変気になります：

その理由は，これが間接話法なのか，直接話法なのかが明らかではないことです。一応訳文では，最後の２行では話者は主人公であるとしていますが，この連がひと続きの文 (one sentence) であると考えることもできます。
仮にそうであるとした場合，訳文はおそらく：
お前はこう言うんだろ？
いつも俺達は
人目につかないどこかに行って
おとなしいフリをしながら
裏では武器を隠してる
自分から
止めたりなんて絶対しないし
そんな殊勝なタマじゃないって
といったものになると思われますが，YOUやWEが指すのは誰なのか，歌詞の中でYOUは一貫して同じ人物を指しているのかなどの点がはっきりしないせいもあって，和訳するのに非常に苦労した歌詞でした。
