I Found A Girl ザ・ヴァンプス (The Vamps ft. OMI)

バンド名にピンときました。以前彼らのWake Upを取り上げています。さて，最初にこの曲を聞いた時は，よくある（勝手な）片思いを歌った曲だと思っていました。広義で言えば確かにその通りなのですが，この曲にはそういった他の曲とは異なる点がひとつあります：主人公が片思いしている相手がレズビアンであり，それゆえ主人公の想いは実らないという点です。それはともかく，イントロを聞いてJames BayのHold Back The Riverを思い出しました。
Their name rings a bell.  I posted their Wake Up before.  I was thinking it's just another crush song in which the narrator tells us their love for the second person when I first heard this song.  In a broader sense, it actually is but one thing in the lyric isn't so common:  The second person seems to be a lesbian making the narrator's crush goes nowhere.
Anyway, the intro reminds me of James Bay's Hold Back The River.

（余談）

先日たまたま海外の結婚情報誌を目にする機会がありました。日本のその手の雑誌を見たことはないものの，内容的には電車の吊り広告で見る日本のそれとさほど変わらないように思えました。

しかしただ一点ここだけは日本のそれとは違うであろうと思われる点がありました。とういのも，そこで取材を受けていたカップルのなかにゲイのカップルが混じっていたからです。

冷静に考えれば，至極当然のことなのですが，それまで頭のどこかで「結婚情報誌は女性のもの」と考えていただけにそれがちょっとした驚きでした。

それはともかく，この曲，多少の誇張はあるものの，基本的にはThe Vampsのメンバーの実際の経験を元に作られているそうで，ちょっといいなと思ったところ，相手に自分は女の子が好きだからと断られ，あっさり「友達枠」に入れられてしまったのだとか。究極の片思いですね。
