いわゆる自慢できない「黒歴史」というものをお持ちの方は少なくないと思います。勿論私もその一人ですが，おそらくMiley Cyrus自身にもそういうものの一つや二つはあるのでしょう。 ただ彼女と私の違いは，私がそのことについてできれば語りたくないと思っているのに対して，彼女の方は「 (I'm not afraid of who I used to be)」と考えているという点です。
I think many people have a history they're not very proud of.  I do, of course and probably Miley Cyrus herself has one or two, too.  What makes Miley and I different is her attitude toward it.  While I'd rather not talk about it, she says "I'm not afraid of who I used to be".
