I was surprised to find myself pretty impatient during the interlude between verse 1 and verse 2. It seems that we are having a much shorter attention span than before, say 1980s and 1990s when rock bands ruled the world.

（余談）
随所にいわゆる「オアシス節」が光るこの曲。EDM全盛の今にあって，ダンスビートではあるものの，リードで述べた長い間奏といい，世の中を皮肉った歌詞といい，加えてフランス語のパートといい，時流に真っ向から対立しています。
そのせいかどうかはわかりませんが，聞くところによると，ある評論家はこのアルバムに星5つのうち星を１つしかつけなかったとか。
確かにアルバム全部がこの流れだとすると，何もかもが忙しい現代にあっては，そのように評価されるのもある程度仕方ないことなのかもしれませんが，逆にそういったことを覚悟の上で敢えてそうしているとすれば，そこにNoel Gallagherのアーティスト魂を感じます。
