高校の頃は辞書をあまり使っていませんでした。英和辞典で知らない単語を調べることがあっても，一番最初の定義だけを見て，残りの部分はすっ飛ばしていました。
When I was in high school, I didn't consult dictionaries very much.  I looked up English words I didn't know sometimes but I just looked at the first definition and skipped the rest entirely.

したがって仮に今私が高校生だったとしたら，「I wanna be down with what you're going through」を「あなたの通り抜けていることと一緒に下りたい（意味不明）」と訳したであろうことは間違いありません。
