「the real thing」とは何でしょうか？ネット上のある辞書では「全くの本物あるいは純正なもの」，そして別の辞書は「あるものの原本（オリジナル），最高のもの，または一番典型的な例」と定義していますが，いずれにしろ高品質でなければならないようです。
What's 'the real thing'?  One online dictionary defines it as 'a thing that is absolutely genuine or authentic'.  Another says it's 'the original, best, or most typical example of something' .  So I guess it must be of a good quality.

（余談）

「Girl you set my heart on fire (お前のことを考えてると，ハートが燃えているように，熱い思いが込み上げてくる)」と言う主人公ですが，「燃えて」「熱い思いが込み上げてくる」のはなにもハートに限ったことではないと思われます。
