あるメタルファンの友人からこの曲の内容を聞かれたので，主人公が大切な相手との別れ，おそらく破局か相手の死かのどちらかによる別れを嘆く曲であろうと伝えましたが，普段友人が聞いている曲とは似ても似つかない曲なので，一体どこがそれほど良かったのか不明です。
One of my friends who is a metal head asked me what this song was all about.  I told them it's a love song in which the narrator's lamenting their parting with their loved one by a breakup or the death of the second person.  I'm sure it's not a song on their playlist and I don't know which part of this song spoke to them so much.

友人がいつも聞いている曲とはあまりに違い過ぎて本人に何度も本当にこの曲なのかと確認してしまいました。
