変わらないものなどこの世にはありませんが，繰り返すものなら存在します。戦争，犯罪，そして不正。最近のニュースを見ていると，主人公と同じ気持ちになってしまいます。

70年代のフォークソングに思えるこの曲ですがJohn Fogertyがこの曲が発表されたのは2004年のこと。イラク戦争のニュースを聞き，40年前のヴェトナム戦争を思い出して作ったそうです。
