２年前に2021年の世界がどうなるか少しでも予想がついたでしょうか？この曲では主人公の恋人が朝の電車に乗って仕事に行っていますが，現在では多くの人が在宅勤務です。
Did you have a slightest idea of what the world would be in 2021 two years ago?  In the song, the second person who is the narrator's boyfriend takes the morning train to work.  Now many people work from home.

（余談）

無論職種にもよるものの，件の彼がホワイトカラーであった場合，現在は在宅勤務になっている可能性が高いと思われますが，主人公にとって彼との時間が有り難い理由のひとつがその「希少性」すなわち「日中は会えないが夜には会える」ことでしょうから，在宅勤務でいつでも会える状態だと「希少性」が薄れ，今度は「一日中顔を突き合わせている」ことが逆にストレスになるとも考えられます。

うちの近所にもシェア・オフィスがありますが，日中そこで仕事をなさっている方々を見るにつけ「通勤は不要だが（自宅以外の）仕事場は必要かも」との思いが一層強くなりました。
