歌詞に登場する相手Angieの正体については様々な憶測が飛び交っており，人によってはそれがDavid Bowieの妻であると考え，また別の人はKeith Richardsの娘（ミドルネームがAngela）だと考えているようですが，それ以外にもこの曲を書いた当のRichardsがこれは手を切ろうとしていたヘロインだと語ったという説もあります。
There seem to be a lot speculations about the identity of the second person or Angie in this song.  Some people think it's David Bowie's wife Angela and others believe it's Keith Richards' daughter whose middle name was Angela.  Some people said Keith Richard who wrote this song explained that it referred to heroin he's kicking out of.
