アーティスト名というのはそのアーティストについて多くを語ってくれるものでしょうか？この場合はそんな気がします。おそらく主人公と相手は別の人間でしょうが，同じ一人の人間で，主人公が自分と対話していると考えることもできます。
Does the name of an artist speak a lot about them?  In this case, I guess so.  Probably the narrator and the second person are the different individuals but could be the same person who is talking to themselves as well.
