The Village ラベル (Wrabel)

この曲に登場する「村（the village）」は実際に存在する地理上の特定の地域ではなく，他人を自分の価値観で評価する社会を表すメタファーなのでしょう。
'The village' in this song doesn't represent a specific geographical area which actually exists.  I think it's a metaphor for a society where people judge others with their own criteria or view.

（余談）

2017年LGBTQ+コミュニティに対する賛歌として作られたこの曲ですが，むしろ社会のありとあらゆる側面に当てはまると思われます。親が子どもに求めるものもそうですし，最近のキャンセル・カルチャーも同じようなものかもしれません。

突き詰めればありとあらゆる「紛争」が，ひとつ「ムラ」と別の「ムラ」とが相手に対して自分の「ムラ」で正しいと認められている行動規範に従えと主張し合っているに過ぎず，そういった意味で今の自分の判断が「絶対的である」と考えないことが最も重要なことであると思われます。
