福島出身の友人の一人が以前アメリカのドラマや映画のステレオタイプについて不満を言っていました。曰く農民や肉体労働者には大抵東北なまりがあるんだとか。
One of my friends who's from Fukushima once complained to me about the stereotyping in American TV dramas and films, saying most farmers and physical workers speak with an accent associated with the northern part of Japan.

友人の不満は当然ですし100％私も同意しますが，スコットランドのアクセントを聞くと確かに北の方の喋り方である気がするのも事実です。
