思うにＹouTubeというのはある意味このゲームなのでは？ある動画を見終わると右側にオススメ動画が出てきますが、その中からまた動画を選んでそれを再生すると、また同じようにオススメ動画が出てきます。４・５回これを繰り返すと、大抵最初は予想もしなかった動画を見ていることになります。
さて先月GotyeのSomebody That I Used To Knowを和訳したのですが、彼の曲が気に入ったので別のをと思い探したところHearts A Messという曲を見つけました。これもやはりいい曲だったのでカヴァーも聴いてみたところ、下の２番目のヴィデオに登場する２人（SeanとMitch）のカヴァーでした。そして彼らが他にもカヴァーしていたのがこのStanding Next To Me (The Lat Shadow Puppets）だったわけです。
According to Wikipedia, Chinese whispers is one name for a game played around the world, in which one person whispers a message to another, which is passed through a line of people until the last player announces the message to the entire group.
I think YouTube is Chinese whispers in a way. When you come across one video and watch it, the suggestion videos come up in the right hand side. You pick one of them up and watch it, then the same thing happens again. After watching four or five videos, you are usually watching the least expected one before you started the streaming.
I posted "Somebody That I Used To Be" by Gotye here last month. Loving his song very much, I decided to try another one and found his "Hearts A Mess". For It is such a good song, I listened to one of covers. The guys covering the song were the two in the second video below, Sean and Mitch. They did another cover. That was "Standing Next To Me" by The Last Shadow Puppets.
