Stripped ディペッシュ・モード(Depeche Mode)

好きなアーティストと音楽の好みが一緒だと，そのアーティストが少し身近に感じられます。私はこのバンドDepeche Modeの特にこの曲が好きなのですが，あのGotyeもこのバンドのファンと知った時は有頂天でした。周りの人をつかまえて「あのGotyeと音楽の趣味が同じなんだよ　これってすごいよね？」と言いたかったのですが・・・別にすごくないですね・・・まあいいや。
この曲，普通のラヴソングではありませんが，想像力をかき立てる面白い曲です。聴くたびに，ジョージ・オーウェルの「1984」を思い出すのですが，多分これは私だけではないはず。
It's a happy moment when I find out that one of my favorite artists also loves the music I love so much.  It makes the artist feel closer or familiar to me.  Gotye is said to be a huge fan of the band, Depeche Mode and so am I.  I wanted to tell everybody around me, "Hey, you know what ?  Gotye loves what I love.  Isn't it cool?"  No, it isn't but I was elated.  Whatever.
This is not a mainstream love song but still full of imagination and inspiration.  Everytime I listen to it, it always reminds me of George Orwell's 1984 and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
