Be My Husband ニナ・シモーン (Nina Simone)

GlastonburyでEd Sheeranがこの曲をカヴァーしていました。Wikipediaによれば，この曲は当時Nina Simoneの夫でマネジャーだったAndrew Stroudが作った曲なのだとか。それはともかく，この曲が面白いと思ったのは，主人公が女性だったからで，仮にこれが男性主人公であったなら，特に興味は引かれていなかったと思います。世の中にはこのテの曲が何千曲（もしかしたら何万曲かもしれません）もあり，特に珍しいわけでもないからです。

Ed Sheeran covered this song at Glastonbury.  According to Wikipedia, it "was written by Andrew Stroud, Simone's husband and manager at the time."  Anyway, the reason this song intrigued me was the fact that the narrator was a woman.  If it'd been a man, it wouldn't have caught my attention.  There are thousands (or tens of thousands, maybe) of songs of that kind and it would be just an another.

こう言ってしまうと，主人公には大変気の毒なのですが，第三者である私が見る限り，この相手は遠からず必ず「ロザリイ」と浮気します。ええもう火を見るより明らかです。
