I'm Coming Out ダイアナ・ロス (Diana Ross)

同性婚を祝うLGBTのテーマ曲のリストにこの曲が挙がっているのを見た時には「ギャグだよね？この曲はずっと前から知ってるけど「別れてせいせいしたわ」的な破局ソングでしょ？」と思ったのですが，どうやらそうではなく私が間違っていたようです。
この曲を共作したNile RogersはDiana Rossそっくりのドラグ・クイーンの集団がヒントになってこの曲ができたと語っているようです。  
When I saw this song on a list of LGBT anthems to celebrate marriage equality, I thought like, "it's a joke, isn't it?  I've known the song for years and I was pretty sure it's about coming through a faltered relationship and a revelation brought to her by that."  Well, they say it's not and I was wrong about the song.
It's said that Nile Rogers who co-wrote the song acknowledged being inspired by a group of drag queens who looked like Diana Ross.

こうして具に歌詞を見てみると・・・確かにその通りです。I'm coming out (of the closet)だったわけですね。
