When I head their What Makes You Beautiful in 2011, they're just another boy band to me. I couldn't tell who's who or who sang which part, except for Harry Styles who had a distinctive voice. Now I can identify all of them and can tell who sings which part. Is it because I learned their colors or they found their own style?

Liam本人によると，この5年間で彼は変声期を終え声が以前よりも低くなったそうです。そう言われると，確かにこの曲を最初に聞いた時，彼の低めの声が印象に残ったような気がします。
それはともかく，歌詞を和訳する上で頻繁にお世話になっているgenius.comですが，この曲の冒頭部分の解説が一風変わっていたのでご紹介します。
