The Cure レディー・ガガ (Lady Gaga)

ラジオでガガ様のPaparazziを聞いた時には結構感動しました。取り上げた題材が通り一遍ではない上に面白く，歌詞もちょっと毒がありなおかつウィットに富んでいたからです。そのため彼女がまさかこんな風に進化して（まあ実際にはあの時点ですでにそうだったわけですが）博愛主義者になるとは思いませんでした。
When I heard Lady Gaga's Paparazzi on a radio, I found her quite impressive.  Her choice of the subject was a bit unusual yet interesting and the lyrics were poignant yet witty.  So I didn't have the slightest idea that she'd evolve in (well actually she's already so at that time, I guess) an philanthropist like this.

（余談）

歌詞に登場する「No matter what you know」という下り，直訳すれば「あなたが何を知っていても」ということですが，そのままではよく意味が通りません。ただ私にはこの相手が何か辛い経験をしているような気がするので，ここでは「どんな経験してる人でも」と訳しています。
