アーティストにとって前へ進むあるいはスタイルを変えるというのは容易なことではありません。人気があればあるほど，以前の自分から抜け出ることが難しくなります。この曲はKodalineにとっての試練ではないでしょうか？
It's not very easy for artists to move forward and change their music style.  The more popular they get, the harder for them to 'get out' of what they used to be.  I think this song is a challenge for Kodaline.

YouTubeのコメント欄を見ていると，以前のスタイルを支持する声が少なからずあるようです。確かにこの曲で彼らの音楽を知ってしまうと，こういう曲に違和感を覚えるのも無理からぬことなのかもしれませんが，個人的にはこの曲も悪くないと思っています。
