Jenny of Oldstone (Game of Thrones) フローレンス・アンド・ザ・マシーン (Florence and The Machine)

ドラマ「ゲーム・オブ・スローンズ (Game of Thrones)」を見ていないので，この曲が何について語っているのかがなかなかわかりませんでした。そこでストーリーを調べたのですが，そうしているうちに思い出したのが，グレゴリウス7世 (Pope Gregory VII)だのインノケンティウス3世(Pope Innocent III)だのといった外国語の名前が覚えられず，高校時代世界史が大の苦手だったことでした。
As a person who doesn't watch the show, Game of Thrones, understanding what this song is talking about wasn't easy.  So I tried to learn the story and remembered that I hated World History very much when I was in high school.  Remembering foreign names like Pope Gregory VII and Pope Innocent III seemed  a daunting task for me.

（余談）

ただでさえ外国人の名前が覚えられないのに，そこに5世だの8世だのがつくわけですからより一層わかりません。折角忘れていたのに，今回この曲を和訳したせいで，当時世界史で8点（100点満点です，念のため）を取ってしまったという黒歴史をうっかり思い出してしまいました・・・。
