（余談）
ただ当のSammy Davis Jr.がこの曲を「甘すぎる」と言って嫌っていたことや，この曲が子どもの曲として受け入れられていることを考えると，ここでいうcandyを違法薬物と捉えない方がよいような気がします。
それにしても「candy（お菓子）」が「薬物」だとしたら，ヘンデルとグレーテルの見つけた「お菓子の家」は大変危険な場所なので，仮にそこに魔女がいなくても帰って来るのは非常に難しそうです。
