「優しさ」は本当にコンパスなんでしょうか？そうかもしれませんがそうでない場合もあるのではないでしょうか？ヘンな方向を示されてそのせいで被害が大きくなることもあるような気がします。
Is love a compass?  Maybe but not always, I think.  Sometimes it tells us a wrong direction causing much damage.

（余談）

仮に北を指す真っ当なコンパスを使ったとしても，そもそもの目的地がどの方向にあるのかがわかっていなければ何の役にも立ちません。

「自分の心に素直になっ」た方向音痴の友人に，とんでもない場所に連れて行かれた経験が山ほどあるので，主人公には「悪いことは言わないからナビを使え」と言ってやりたくなります。
