The Four Horsemen アフロディテス・チャイルド (Aphrodite's Child)

 
この曲を聴いて「で？」と聞きたくなるのは私だけでしょうか？まあそうなんでしょう。聖書に関する知識がないままこの曲を聞いて内容を理解するのは容易ではありません。正直なところ，この四騎士のことを調べた後でも全くこの曲の意味がわかりません。
Is it only me who cannot help asking "So what?" listening to this song?  Well, probably.  Without knowledge about Bible, it's not very easy to understand this song.  Honestly, this song is still beyond my comprehension even after I learned a bit about these four horsemen.

The leading horse is white
The second horse is red

そしてその「子羊」が
ひとつ目の封印を解いた時
最初の馬が現れて
そこ乗ってる人間が「弓」をその手に持っていた

それで次に「子羊」が
ふたつ目の封印を解いた時
二頭目の馬が出て
そこに乗ってる人間が「剣」をその手に持っていた

一番最初の馬は白
二番目の馬は赤
三番目が黒い馬
最後の馬は青ざめて血色が悪かった

そしてその「子羊」が
三つ目の封印を解いた時
三頭目の馬が出て
そこ乗ってる人間が「天秤」を手にしてた

それで次に「子羊」が
四つ目の封印を解いた時
四頭目の馬が出たけど
その馬に「疫病」が乗っていた

一番最初の馬は白
二番目の馬は赤
三番目が黒い馬
最後の馬は青ざめて血色が悪かった

（余談）

なんとなくヤバそうなことは感じられるものの，具体的に何がどうなんだと問われると返答に困ります。

繰り返し「The leading horse is white, The second horse is red, The third one is a black, The last one is a green」と言われても，聖書に関する教養が著しく欠けているせいか思いつくのは「白馬・栗毛の馬・青鹿毛の馬・葦毛の馬」程度です。

・・・まさかパドックで出走前の馬をチェックしているわけじゃないですよね？
