（余談）

この曲を額面通り受け取りElton御大のことをヒドイヤツだと思う人は少ないとは思いますが，些細な言い間違いや説明不足がSNS上で大事件に発展する現在であれば，こういった曲を発表するのは大きなリスクであり，５０年以上前の1974年だったからこそ発表できた曲かもしれません。

・・・と最初は考えたのですが・・・ヒップホップの曲の場合はむしろそれが「お約束」であり，むしろやたらに謙虚で腰の低いヒップホップというのもなんとなく落ち着かない。

仮にそうだとするといわゆる「クリスチャン・ヒップホップ」などというジャンルは概念矛盾であるようにも思えるのですが・・・実はすでにWikipediaにも件の項目が存在します。

一見したところ対極にありそうな「クリスチャン」と「ヒップホップ」のどの辺りで両者の整合性を取っているのか個人的に気になるところです。
