Temple キングス・オブ・レオン (Kings of Leon)

Templeというタイトルを耳にした時には，宗教絡みの曲かあるいは女性の体を「神殿」に例えたかなりエロいヤツだと思いました。ただそう思った私を邪心持ちと謗るのはお待ちください。テキはあのSex On Fireを作ったKings of Leonです。それ以外に何が思いつきましょうや（反語）。まあ私以外の方はそうかもしれませんが・・・・。
それはともかくこの曲はセックスについての曲ではありません。我が自虐の師James BluntのYou're Beautifulのような曲で，主人公（シャイな男性）が相手（女性）に対して，振り向いてもらうためなら何でもすると言う内容です。この場合templeは，寺院や神殿などの宗教施設はなく，目の後ろの「こめかみ」の部分のことでしょう。
When I heard the title, 'Temple', I thought it's a some kind of religious song or rather dirty one which compares a female's body to a 'temple'.  Please don't accuse me of being 'dirty minded.'  They're Kings of Leon who wrote "Sex On Fire."  Who the hell can think of something else?  Well, maybe you can...
Anyway, the song isn't about sex.  It's rather a desperate love song like James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" in which the protagonist (a shy guy) is trying to tell the second person (a girl) he'd do anything just to get her attention.  I think "temple" "indicates not a religious complex but the side of the head behind the eyes" in this case.
